You, your family, and friends are invited to participate in “Get Moving for Healthy Kids”, a 5K walk/ run that will be held on Sunday, August 29th at West High Athletic field, beginning at 8:00 a.m. The walk/race will begin on the track and go into the surrounding neighborhood with shorter races held on the track. The event will also feature lots of educational and fun activities about the importance of physical activity and good nutrition. Proceeds will benefit the Healthy Kids Community Care school based health clinic endowment. Registration is $12/person or $30/ family. The first 500 registrants will receive a free pedometer.
